With 15+ years of experience in Utilities Resource Planning, Finance & Policy, Matt has navigated the complexities of the Power & Utilities sector from the inside. His background spans electric rate cases, transmission formula rate filings across five RTOs, long-term Integrated Resource Plans, and power trading applications.

Before founding Offtake Energy, Matt was part of the early teams at multiple energy startups — including one backed by a globally renowned private equity firm — and held a senior role at an EPC firm where he developed a ground-level understanding of project costs and execution. He has served as an expert witness for Fortune 500 industrial clients and led pioneering efforts to help industrial users access MISO wholesale power markets.
